By accessing or using the ReelCrews platform at reelcrews.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ReelCrews. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Account Registration & Responsibilities
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 16, you may only use the Service with the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian. Creating an account using false information or impersonating another person is prohibited.
3. User Content & Intellectual Property
“User Content” means any content you submit, post, or make available on the Service, including but not limited to your profile, resume, reel, headshot, messages, ratings, and reviews.
You retain ownership of all intellectual property in your User Content. By submitting User Content to ReelCrews, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Use, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service
- Display your profile information, headshot, and professional details to other users as necessary for networking and job matching features
- Share your availability and professional data with project members when you join a project
You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to submit all User Content, and that such content does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Harassment & abuse — Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating other users, including through messages, ratings, or reviews.
- Spam & solicitation — Sending unsolicited mass messages, promotional content, or off-platform advertisements.
- Fake credentials — Misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, experience, union affiliations, or professional credentials.
- Fraud — Using the Service for fraudulent purposes, including creating fake projects, companies, or job listings.
- Discrimination — Discriminating against users based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Intellectual property violations— Uploading or distributing content that infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Unauthorized access— Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, the Service's systems, or any connected networks.
- Automation — Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without our prior written consent.
- Harmful content — Distributing malware, viruses, or any code that could damage or interfere with the Service.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
- The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Service will meet your expectations
You use the Service at your sole risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELCREWS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Any content obtained from the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
IN NO EVENT SHALL REELCREWS'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO REELCREWS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReelCrews and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or access to the Service
- Your User Content or any content you submit or make available on the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
9. Refunds & Billing
ReelCrews’s core features are free to use. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, the following terms will apply:
- Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues through the billing period
- Annual subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of purchase
- One-time purchases are refundable within 14 days if not substantially used

10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
11. General Provisions
- Severability — If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver — The failure of ReelCrews to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
- Entire agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReelCrews regarding the Service.
- Assignment — You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent.
